Gold is used in various fields and a rare resource nature. Recovery of gold from domestic wastes desired Japan. Bamboo an abundant biomass Japan, the promotion its utilization desired. In our previous studies, sulfur-impregnated carbonaceous adsorbent with high heavy metal removal has been prepared resources using sulfur affinity for metals. this study, bamboo was powder by pyrolyzing at 800°C under N2 atmosphere recovering strong acidic solution. could be recovered solution precipitation metals on surface bamboo, while little amount raw non-sulfur-impregnated bamboo. The adsorption reduction reaction occurred rapidly, it observed that particles were larger as time increased. precipitated smaller than those activated carbon.
